Esther & Harry's Autumn Wedding

I had the most wonderful pleasure of documenting Esther and Harry's wedding in the beautiful Autumn month of September this year. When Esther and Harry described their wedding day to me, it was most certain that it was going to be a gorgeous occasion and not to mention that it was an outdoor wedding set in the Suffolk countryside (I did my best to hold my excitement!). The ceremony took place in the gardens at Clare Priory and despite the heavy downpour over the first few weeks in September, Esther and Harry couldn't have asked for a more glorious day as the sun rose to the occasion and sparkled all day long. Esther's attire was a beautiful vintage dress and certainly had everyone's attention as she looked radiant. Here are a few tasters of the shots I took :) x

Product Photography: SWIG Hip Flask

I have given hip flasks as presents for friends in the past and I personally think they are a really trendy (and sometimes cheeky!) gift idea. SWIG Hip Flasks was originally founded in 2013 by David Galbraith as he had a dilemma of finding a decent "man gift" and a quality hip flask so he combined the two ideas and the rest is history as they say! Hip flasks are traditionally made of pewter and silver though these days, most are made of stainless steel and usually come in all sorts of designs and shapes.

SWIG Hip Flasks got in touch with me to ask if I could take shots of their product as well as a review. There are 5 ranges in their collection which include the Naked; Harris Tweed; Executive; Heritage; and Engraving.

I selected the Harris Tweed Red flask as I love tweed and the design reminds me of the rural countryside. The packaging is very polished - mine came in a plush red box neatly tied with a black ribbon (as you'll see in the images below with my partner modelling it!) and on opening the box, we found the hip flask laying nicely on a silk-like cushion.  At first look and feel, the flask itself has a great finish, well made with quality stainless steel. The inverted side on the flask aids in a more comfortable grip and the weighty screw top means your less likely to lose it.  The flask is lightweight and small enough to fit inside a pocket. So if you're headed to a festival, these flasks would definitely come in handy and are made to last!

There are some additional perks that come with being a SWIG Hip Flask owner, such as being part of a members-only SWIG Society. Each one has an engraving with a unique members only ID number making you part of the Society so you'll certainly feel part of an exclusive community and what's more SWIG encourages their members to share their adventures with their hip flask on the go on social media.

With Christmas just around the corner, these SWIG Hip Flasks will make great presents or stocking fillers!

The Engagement Shoot: Kim and Mark

I had the great pleasure of doing a shoot for Kim and Mark following their engagement. This was really special as I have known Kim since we were ickle toddlers!

Kim and Mark wanted fun and upbeat photos, so I did my best to capture their vision as well as their personalities and the sweet affection they have for each other. Photo-booth props were at the ready to add that bit of extra fun and flavour to the session!

A Countryside Escape

Following a fab weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, we decided to take a de-tour to Stonehenge en route back home to London. As you can tell from the photos we were not so fortunate to get a close encounter with the mysterious giant stones but we did certainly make an adventure of it! From daisy chain making to taking the time out to relax to absorb the beautiful English scenic views, we made sure we soaked up as much as we could before heading back to the hustle and bustle of London town.
